BLACK FRIDAY 2025 - Social Sweepstakes - Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. ELIGIBILITY

You must be (i) a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia and (ii) 18 years of age or older to participate in the Edikted Black Friday 2025 Social Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”). Employees of Edikted, participating vendors (if any), their respective parent companies, affiliates, and subsidiaries, and their respective participating advertising, promotions, and public relations agencies as well as members of their families and/or those living in the same household as such individuals are not eligible to enter. If you are a resident of a jurisdiction which prohibits or restricts any aspect of the Sweepstakes, you are prohibited from participation. Edikted may request, at any time, that you provide proof of age and/or identity and/or proof of residency. Any entrant or participant of the Sweepstakes (each, a “Participant”) who does not prove eligibility as requested will be excluded from the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is: (a) governed by these official rules (the “Official Rules”), (b) void where prohibited or restricted by law; (c) subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations; and (d) subject to the decisions of Edikted, which shall be binding. By entering, you agree that you have read and consent to be bound by these Official Rules, and Edikted’s privacy policy, available here. Eligibility is conditioned on the acceptance of these Official Rules and Edikted’s privacy policy at time of entry.

2. PROMOTION PERIOD

The Sweepstakes begins at 8AM/EST on November 26, 2025 and ends at 11:59PM/EST on November 29, 2025 (“Promotion Period”). Entries submitted after the Promotion Period will not be considered and will be disqualified from participation in the Sweepstakes. Edikted’s computer is the official time-keeping device. All Entries (defined below) must be submitted and received during the Promotion Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of Entries submitted during the Promotion Period.

3. HOW TO ENTER

To enter the Sweepstakes, you must:

1. Become a follower of Edikted (@edikted) on Instagram or TikTok (each, a “Social Media Channel”), if you are not already; 

2.  Like the Sponsor’s post promoting the Sweepstakes; and 

3. Post a comment in response to Sponsor’s post promoting the Sweepstakes.

(collectively, an “Entry”).

Limit one (1) Entry per person per Social Media Channel during the Promotion Period. Participants may not use multiple accounts on the same Social Media Channel to enter into the Sweepstakes. 

Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Edikted is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected Entries, all of which are void. Each potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized individual account holder of the account associated with the winning Entry. Edikted’s computer is the official Sweepstakes clock.  Message and data rates may apply for Entries submitted via mobile devices. 

4. ADDITIONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Each Entry you submit must also comply with the following:

4. Each Entry must meet the technical and content requirements of the applicable Social Media Channel. 

5. Entries that feature, mention, refer to, or otherwise allude to the name, logo, or trademark of any entity, third party individual, product, or brand other than Edikted may not be submitted, and may be disqualified at any time in Edikted’s sole discretion. 

6. Any Entry that fails to meet Edikted’s specifications may be disqualified at any time in Edikted’s sole discretion.

7. The Entry must be your own original work, created solely by you, and must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other personal or proprietary rights of any person or entity.

8. Entries that are lewd, obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, disparaging, defamatory, libelous, obscene, non-family-friendly, or Entries that otherwise contain inappropriate content or objectionable material, may not be submitted and may be disqualified at any time in Edikted’s sole discretion. 

9. Entries that contain any viruses, spyware, malware, or other malicious components that are designed to harm the functionality of a computer in any way may not be submitted and may be disqualified at any time in Edikted’s sole discretion. 

10. Your Entry must not contain any personally identifiable information of any person other than you. Should you include personally identifiable information about yourself in your Entry, you acknowledge and agree that such information may be disclosed publicly, and you are solely responsible for any related consequences.

11. You may not be, nor may you work with parties in conjunction with your Entries who are: 1) represented under contract (e.g., by a talent agent or manager) that would limit or impair Edikted’s ability to display your Entry in any media form; or 2) under any other contractual relationship, including but not limited to guild and/or union memberships, that may prevent Edikted from being able to use the Entry worldwide in all media in perpetuity on a royalty-free basis, without any payment or fee obligations. 

Edikted reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any Entry that it believes violates or potentially violates any of the foregoing requirements or otherwise fails to comply with any provision of these Official Rules. The decisions of Edikted on this and all matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes will be final and binding.

5. THE WINNER(S)

Following each day of the Promotion Period, at or about 10AM/EST, five (5) potential winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible Entries received during the Promotion Period (each, a “Winner”), for a total of twenty (20) Winners. The drawings will be conducted by Edikted’s representative or designee, whose decisions shall be final and binding in all respects. 

The potential winner(s) will be notified by direct message on the relevant Social Media Channel from Edikted’s account within five (5) business days after the closing date of the Promotion Period. If the potential winner(s) cannot be contacted or does not claim the Prize within 48 hours of Prize notification, or if the potential winner(s) is found ineligible or does not comply with these Official Rules, then Edikted, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from the winner(s) and determine a replacement winner(s) from the remaining eligible Entries. If Edikted is unable to confirm a winner after three (3) good faith attempts, the Prize(s) may not be awarded. If the confirmed winner forfeits the Prize for any reason after confirmation, no alternate winner may be selected. Edikted’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Sweepstakes and awarding of any Prize will be final and will not be subject to review or appeal by any Participant or by any third party. 

6. PRIZE

There will be twenty (20) prize(s), each consisting of (1) a  refund of up to $250for the Winner’s most recent Edikted purchase made between November 23, 2025 and November 29, 2025 (subject to Edikted validation), OR, (2) if the Winner did not make a purchase, or Edikted cannot validate that the Winner made an Edikted purchase, between November 23, 2025 and November 29, 2025, then the Winner will receive a store credit of $250.00 (each, a “Prize”). The total aggregate approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Prize(s) is $5,000.00. Odds of winning a Prize depend on the number of eligible Entries received during the Promotion Period. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any Prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. Any prize details not specified above will be determined by Edikted in its sole discretion. Taxes on the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner(s).

The Prize is for personal use only and is not transferable. You may not alter, give away or exchange the Prize for other goods. Receiving the Prize depends on the Participant’s eligibility as determined by Edikted in its sole discretion. Edikted will not be held responsible for any delays in awarding the Prize or any component thereof for any reason. The potential Prize winner(s) may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability & Publicity Release and a Confidentiality Agreement within 48 hours following the date of first attempted notification. Failure to comply within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner(s).  

7. THE CONTENT

Edikted reserves the right to deny the Winner(s) from receiving their Prize in case of a violation of law or fraud of any kind whatsoever, including the use of already published video content to the applicable post promoting the Sweepstakes or content which is not original to the Participant.

Each Participant will be solely liable for its content and declares that the publication of such content is in no way harmful to any third party, including, in accordance with the applicable laws of defamation, copyrights, or privacy. The Participant will be solely and fully responsible for any damage that may be caused as a result of the publication of its content or its participation in the Sweepstakes.

Edikted reserves the right to erase or edit any content that will be published by any of the Participants, including offensive and brutal content, advertising or spam content, or any other content that is considered harmful or inappropriate under these Official Rules, terms of use of the relevant Social Media Channel, or Edikted’s account in the relevant Social Media Channel, and reserves the right for disqualification of a Participant, all in Edikted’s sole discretion.

8. RIGHTS GRANTED BY YOU

As a condition of Entry, subject to applicable law, Participants irrevocably grant Edikted, and its licensees, successors, assigns, and sub-licensees, the perpetual, worldwide, fully paid up, royalty free, sublicensable right and license to copy, modify, make derivative works, publicly display, publicly perform, and otherwise use their Entry, in whole or in part, including without limitation, their name, voice, social media handle, likeness and/or biographical material for advertising, promotional, trade, commercial, and/or publicity purposes at any time in connection with the Sweepstakes, and to display such information and content in all forms of media and by all manners (now and hereafter known), and on and in connection with related products, services, advertising and promotional materials (now knows or hereafter developed), without any obligation, notice, review, or approval and without additional compensation, except where otherwise prohibited by law. Without limiting the foregoing, Edikted reserves the right to publish the announcement of the Winner(s) and the aforesaid information in any additional media platform, site, or Social Media Channel of choice. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each Participant waives any claim with respect to the aforesaid.

9. RELEASE; WAIVER

By entering the Sweepstakes, each Participant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless Edikted, its legal representatives, respective officers, directors, employees and agents from any damages whatsoever suffered or sustained in connection with the Sweepstakes or the acceptance of the Prize. Participant hereby waive all rights to: (i) claim punitive, exemplary, special, incidental, indirect and consequential damages and any other damages (whether due to negligence or otherwise), other than for actual out-of-pocket costs; and (ii) have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.  Further, Edikted is not responsible for any (a) electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft, or destruction, (b) unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, (c) technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic computer, hardware or software malfunctions, or limitations of any kind, or (d) inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Edikted on account of technical problems or traffic congestion via mobile phone or otherwise. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, act of God, or any other causes which corrupt or otherwise affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Edikted reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes or any portion thereof, at any time and for any reason without further obligation or advance notice. Edikted reserves the right, but does not have any obligation, to select winners from eligible Entries received as of the termination date. Edikted further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or acts in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

10. DISPUTES. 

Except where prohibited, Participant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of California. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, Participant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Edikted in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the state of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the state of California or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the state of California.

11. GENERAL 

These Official Rules are the entire agreement between Edikted and the Participants of the Sweepstakes. These Official Rules sum up the rights and obligations of the Participants and Edikted, and by participating in the Sweepstakes, each Participant agrees and declares that it has read and understood these Official Rules, accepts the provisions included in them and undertakes to act in accordance with them.

Edikted reserves its right to cancel the Sweepstakes at any time or change the provisions of these Official Rules at its sole discretion. 

Each Participant declares that he/she is aware that despite all efforts invested in the various systems, these systems are not full proof of errors or faults, including due to human errors or technical difficulties (e.g., errors that prevent the posting of certain video clips, changes of the Sweepstakes dates, etc.). If for any reason (including, without limitation, due to a technical or a human error), a video clip is not published and/or the detail of a Participant or a possible winner or a wrong winner is announced (one or more), Edikted will not bear any liability, and the Participants will have no right or claim against Edikted with respect to the Sweepstakes.

In any event of contradiction or discrepancy within these Official Rules or other publishing in any media platform and/or the relevant promotional copy, the provisions of these Official Rules will prevail.

12. CAUTION

Any attempt by a Participant to deliberately damage any associated website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Edikted reserves the right to seek damages from any such Participant to the fullest extent of the law. 

13. NO THIRD-PARTY SPONSORS

Unless otherwise expressly provided by Edikted, the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or in association with, any person or other entity, including any third party, other than Edikted. NAMES, LOGOS AND OTHER MATERIALS ARE USED FOR PROMOTION PURPOSES AND/OR PRIZE DESCRIPTION ONLY.  ALL TRADEMARKS, SERVICE MARKS, TRADE NAMES, TRADE DRESS, PRODUCT NAMES, AND LOGOS APPEARING IN THE PROMOTION ARE THE PROPERTY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS; USE DOES NOT IMPLY AFFILIATION OR ENDORSEMENT.

14. SOCIAL MEDIA 

By entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, you release and hold the applicable Social Media Channel harmless from liability. You must direct any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Sweepstakes to Edikted, not to any Social Media Channel. 

15. SEVERABILITY

If any provision(s) of these Official Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
